Many online forms, government portals and email systems reject images above a fixed size — often 100 KB, 200 KB or 1 MB. Here is how to hit an exact target without installing anything, and without uploading your photo to a stranger's server.
The fastest method
- Open the Compress to 100 KB page (or the Image Compressor).
- The target size is already set to 100 KB. Upload your photo.

Tips for small targets
- Use the Target-size mode instead of guessing a quality percentage — it does the math for you.
- For very small limits (20–50 KB), the tool will also reduce resolution if needed and tells you when it does.

- If the image is also too large in dimensions, resize it first, then compress.
