This Privacy Policy explains how SimplyToolz ("we", "us") handles information when you use simplytoolz.com (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Your files are processed locally
All file processing (compression, resizing, conversion, PDF creation, HEIC decoding, etc.) happens entirely inside your web browser. Your files are never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers. We have no access to the content of the files you process, and they are discarded from memory when you close or reload the page.
2. Information we collect
- File content: none. See section 1.
- Visit statistics — only if you allow it: if you press "Allow" in the banner, the site loads Yandex Metrica. It records the pages you open, where you click, which outbound links you follow, the site you came from, your device, browser and approximate region, and sets its own cookies. With the same consent it records the session itself — mouse movements, clicks and scrolling (Webvisor) — which is how we see where the interface gets in the way. Everything inside the tools is hidden from that recording: fields are marked not to record what you type, and the tool area, results and file names included, is replaced with placeholder characters. Parameters of shared links are removed from the address before the counter starts. Until you answer, or if you decline, the counter is not loaded at all.

- Technical logs: our hosting/CDN provider may automatically log technical data (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.
3. Optional cloud import
If you choose to import a file from Google Drive, Dropbox or Yandex Disk, we use the provider's authorization solely to retrieve the specific file you select. We do not store your cloud credentials, and access happens in your browser.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for visit statistics (Yandex Metrica), and on our legitimate interests for keeping the Service secure and operational. You may withdraw consent at any time on the Cookie Policy page; from the next page you open, the counter is no longer loaded.
5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the EU GDPR and Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data"), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. 6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary local storage (theme, language, your answer about statistics) and, only with your consent, Yandex Metrica cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details and how to change your choice.
7. Third-party services
We rely on third parties whose own privacy policies apply: Yandex Metrica, if you allow statistics; the cloud-storage provider you choose if you import a file; the service that delivers our contact form when you write to us; and our hosting/CDN provider. The arbitrage tools request public market data (prices, order books, fees) directly from exchanges from your browser: the exchange sees your IP address and which coins are requested, but not the amounts you enter. There is no advertising partner. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites linked from the Service.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age required by your local law (e.g. 13/16). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Data retention
We keep neither your files nor anything you type into the tools. Visit statistics are kept by Yandex Metrica under its own rules; technical logs by the hosting provider under its own.
10. International transfers
Only if you allow visit statistics. The data listed in section 2 then goes to Yandex Metrica, provided to this site by YANDEX LLC (Moscow, Russia) under the Yandex Metrica terms of use. Russia has no adequacy decision from the European Commission, so for visitors from the EU this is a transfer to a country without an equivalent level of protection — which is why we ask first and count nothing without your yes. Without consent, no data is transferred.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version; material changes will be reflected on this page.
